Job summary

The Christie in Manchester seeks a Cellular Therapy Coordinator to cover 12 months of maternity leave. You will coordinate pre-admission and treatment pathways for stem cell transplants, CAR-T and ATMPs, from referral to follow-up, within a specialist MDT.

You will liaise with donor coordinators, apheresis, pharmacy and laboratories, provide patient information and support, and contribute to governance, audits and accreditation work including JACIE/HTA.

Qualifications

• Degree in a health-related subject or equivalent.
• Master's degree or ability to work at that level.
• Haematology/oncology course.
• RGN Level 1 registration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate stem cell transplant and cellular therapy pathways from referral through follow-up.
• Manage a designated patient workload including pre-admission requirements.
• Coordinate treatment pathways for CAR-T and other ATMPs.
• Monitor pathway progress, identify delays or risks, and raise issues.
• Liaise with medical teams, transplant and donor coordinators, apheresis, pharmacy and laboratories.
