Job summary

IQVIA Discovery Sciences is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist - Stem Cells to lead and optimise stem cell culture technologies across discovery programmes.

You will culture, maintain, expand, and troubleshoot diverse stem cell lines while coordinating multiple projects to meet critical timelines. Collaboration with scientists across sites and with external partners will be essential to drive robust cellular models and high-quality cellular batches for research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant life science field.
• Significant stem cell culture experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with stem cell lines and cryopreservation.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, optimisation, and implementation of stem cell culture technologies.
• Culture, maintain, expand, and troubleshoot stem cell lines.
• Manage multiple cell culture programmes with delivery against timelines.
• Generate high-quality cell batches to support high-throughput screening.
• Apply cryopreservation techniques to ensure consistency and long-term cell line integrity.
• Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting cellular assays and culture challenges.
• Drive best practices across cell culture workflows and share knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with biosafety requirements and contamination control.
• Collaborate with scientists, project teams and stakeholders across departments and locations.
• Engage with external suppliers and research partners to support objectives.
