Job summary

Hackney School in London is seeking a high-achieving STEM graduate to join as an Academic Tutor, delivering Maths and Science support up to GCSE and leading 1:1 and small-group interventions. This full-time, long-term role offers immediate start with pay of £500+ per week via PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay, and a chance to develop classroom experience in a dynamic school culture.

You should hold a strong STEM degree and have excellent communication skills and a track record of raising student

Qualifications

• Degree in a STEM subject is required.
• Strong A-level results and solid academic record.
• Experience working with children or young people is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Maths and Science support up to GCSE.
• Lead 1:1 and small-group tutoring across KS3/KS4.
• Identify knowledge gaps and provide targeted support.
• Help students build confidence and improve attainment.
