Job Description

We are seeking a Steelwork Technical Coordinator to join our Bristol team on a new project. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating steelwork platform designs to ensure their maturity
• Liaising with building layout and piping teams to coordinate designs
• Facilitating timely engineering delivery
• Managing open points for mitigation and resolution
• Maintaining QA procedures in steelwork design delivery
• Managing engineering changes according to company procedures
• Resolving technical issues
• Receiving, analyzing, and verifying input data consistency
• Managing schedule impacts from changes

Qualifications

• Experience in designing seismically classified steel platforms and structures from concept to detailed design
• Proficiency with 3D modeling and structural analysis tools
• Knowledge of PWRs is advantageous
• Understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulations
• Experience in the nuclear sector and plant layout engineering is beneficial
• Knowledge of Eurocodes related to civil engineering, especially design of fastenings and anchorages in concrete
• Understanding of reinforced and pre-stressed concrete structures
• Ability to work within design and layout constraints
