Job summary

SEGULA Technologies recherche un ingénieur en conception de structures en acier pour un projet innovant à Bristol. Ce rôle implique la production de designs conformes aux normes, la coordination avec divers départements, et la gestion des procédures qualité. Nous offrons une option de travail flexible avec 3 jours sur site et 2 jours de télétravail par semaine.

Qualifications

• Expérience dans le secteur nucléaire et l'ingénierie de mise en page d'usine souhaitée.
• Bonne compréhension des réglementations de santé et de sécurité.
• Connaissances en conception de structures de béton armé et précontraint.

Responsibilities

• Produire des conceptions de plateformes en acier conformes aux Eurocodes.
• Coordonner avec les équipes de mise en page et de tuyauterie pour le design.
• Gérer les changements d'ingénierie selon les procédures de l'entreprise.

Job Description

We are looking for experience individuals to join us on an innovative Steelwork Engineering project. The key activities you will be carrying out will include:

• Producing steelwork platform designs compliant with the Eurocode3 other relevant codes
• Liaising with the building layout and piping teams to coordinate the design
• Maintaining the QA procedures in delivering the SW design
• Working with the CAD designers in the preparation of the design
  drawings/models
• Managing engineering changes in line with company procedures
• Resolving identified technical issues
• Receive, analyse and verify the consistency of the input data
• Produces the deliverables for which they are responsible (assumption notes,technical specifications, calculation notes)
• Coordinate CAD Design
• Perform design activities for fastenings and anchorages in concrete
• Develop substantiation reports and complete surveillance of applicable
  technical documents
• Perform technical verifications of civil engineering documents for their
  building
• Create and maintain and responsible for the Design Risk Register

Qualifications

• Use of 3D modelling and structural analysis tools.
• Knowledge / Understanding of PWRs would be an advantage.
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulations
• Experience in the nuclear sector and plant layout engineering would be
advantageous
• Knowledge/understanding of the Eurocodes related to civil engineering and
especially knowledge of the design of fastenings and anchorages in concrete.
• Knowledge of the design of reinforced concrete and pre-stressed concrete
structures.
