Job Description

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our Steelwork Engineering project. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Producing steelwork platform designs compliant with Eurocode 3 and other relevant codes.
  2. Liaising with building layout and piping teams to coordinate design efforts.
  3. Maintaining QA procedures in delivering steelwork designs.
  4. Collaborating with CAD designers to prepare design drawings and models.
  5. Managing engineering changes according to company procedures.
  6. Resolving technical issues identified during the project.
  7. Analyzing and verifying input data for consistency.
  8. Producing deliverables such as assumption notes, technical specifications, and calculation notes.
  9. Coordinating CAD design activities.
  10. Performing design activities for fastenings and anchorages in concrete.
  11. Developing substantiation reports and overseeing technical documentation.
  12. Verifying civil engineering documents for construction.
  13. Creating and maintaining the Design Risk Register.
Qualifications
  • Experience with 3D modelling and structural analysis tools.
  • Understanding of PWRs is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Experience in the nuclear sector and plant layout engineering is beneficial.
  • Understanding of Eurocodes related to civil engineering, especially fastenings and anchorages in concrete.
  • Knowledge of reinforced and pre-stressed concrete structures.

  • Work Arrangement: 3 days on-site, optional 2 days WFH
