Job summary

Pure Staff Ltd are recruiting a Steel Worker for a well-established Bilston company that galvanises steel for fencing and metal products, preparing parts for zinc coating and delivering a durable metallic finish. This is a hands-on, physically demanding factory role.

Duties include preparing steel for galvanising, loading onto jigs, heavy manual handling, and keeping a clean, safe work area while following Health & Safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Factory/industrial experience is essential.
• Experience working with metals is desirable.
• Physically fit for heavy manual work.
• Reliable and punctual; able to work in a team.
• Aware of Health & Safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare steel for galvanising.
• Load steel onto jigs/hooks for zinc coating.
• Perform heavy manual handling tasks.
• Work with metal products in a factory environment.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures.
