Job summary

Ivy Resource Group is seeking a Steel Fixer Supervisor for an immediate start in Walsall, West Midlands. You will supervise a small team on a Kier site, focusing on fittings and trimming of steels, with on-site adherence to safety and quality standards.

Must hold a valid CSCS Supervisory Gold card with NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds level 3 in steel fixing, and provide two recent references. Working hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm, with weekly Friday pay and CIS/UTR payroll.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience as a Steel Fixer Supervisor
• CSCS Supervisory Gold card or equivalent with NVQ 3 / City & Guilds 3 in the trade category overseen

Responsibilities

• Site supervising 2 other workers on a Kier site
• Overseeing fittings and trimming steels; work as steel fixer/fitter when on tools

What is required for the position?

Tickets:

Valid CSCS Supervisory Gold card (or equivalent recognised by Build UK) with minimum NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds level 3, in the trade category they are supervising (steel fixing)

PPE: Hard hat, high vis, steel toe cap boots

Experience:

Must have 3 years' experience working as a Steel Fixer Supervisor on other construction projects

References:

Must be able to provide 2 recent work references

Work Involved:

Site supervising 2 other workers on a KIER site doing fittings and trimming steels- steel fixer/fitter as will be on tools too

Pay:

CIS / UTR

Weekly pay on a Friday

£240 per day

Other information:

Working hours: 7:30am - 16:30pm
