First People Solutions is seeking experienced Steel Fixers for an exciting project in Dumfries. You will read reinforcement drawings, cut/bend and fix steel reinforcement, and install bars and mesh to specification on a busy construction site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Steel Fixer.
• Valid CSCS Card (Blue or Gold preferred).
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Own PPE and relevant tools.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting reinforcement drawings.
• Cutting, bending and fixing steel reinforcement.
• Installing reinforcing bars and mesh to specification.
• Working safely and efficiently to meet project deadlines.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety.
