Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is seeking experienced steel fixers for a commercial construction site in Exeter. This 3-month contract offers the opportunity to work on high-quality projects with consistent hours from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

The role requires proven steel fixing experience and a Blue CSCS card, with PPE and tools provided on site. The position may extend into longer-term work after the initial phase is complete.

Qualifications

• Proven steel fixing experience in construction projects.
• Ability to read construction drawings for reinforcement layouts.
• Blue CSCS card is required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings to identify reinforcement layouts.
• Cut, bend and shape steel bars and mesh per specifications.
• Position and secure reinforcement within formwork prior to concrete pours.
