The role requires recent steel manufacturing experience within the last 12 months and involves duties such as picking, packing, banding steel, scrap disposal, storage and quality checks.

Owen Payne Recruitment Services are thrilled to be recruiting for an experienced General Factory Operative, on behalf of our prestigious client based in Oldbury (B69) area.

Candidates MUST have previous experience within the last 12 months working in a steel manufacturing environment - Experience must be recent and directly relevant.

Duties:

• Picking, Packing and Wrapping Goods


• Banding Steel together


• Removal and disposal of all scrap/coil ends into identified areas or bins


• Ensure finished goods are correctly stored


• Quality Checking


• Carry out any other duties commensurate with your job duties

Shifts:

• Mornings - Monday to Friday
