I am currently recruiting for a Steel Cutter in the Kingsbridge area of Devon. Monday to Friday 07:30-16:00. 40 hours a week paid. £15 per hour.

Key Responsibilities to include

• Review drawings, designs and specifications to ensure precision in the final product
• Inspect finished products and ensure the meet the required specifications
• Create custom parts based on customer request and design specifications
• Maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Communicate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot production problems and find solutions

Requirements

• Experience with metal/;steel cutting using CNC machine is essential
• Experience in machining, metal working or a related field is required
• Experience with manual and computer controlled machine tools, such as Lathes, Milling Machines and Grinders
• Experience with CAD/CAM software preferred but not essential
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and mathematical abilities required.
