Job summary

Orka Financial Ltd. is seeking a technically strong ACA/ACCA qualified Accountant to join our UK team. The role offers involvement in due diligence for acquisitions and integration work post-acquisition, with emphasis on statutory reporting across the group.

You will oversee consolidation, coordinate group reporting processes, and support auditors both year-end and interim. A robust technical accounting background and experience with CCH/Excel are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA with UK practice background.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and group reporting experience.
• Experience with consolidations and statutory reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production of annual consolidated statements and notes.
• Coordinate consolidation and group accounts in Excel and CCH.
• Own the production of annual subsidiary accounts.
• Support interim and year-end external reporting and audits.
• Liaise with auditors on year-end and half-year deliverables.
• Prepare technical accounting papers for group auditors and board papers.
• Act as a subject matter expert for financial reporting.
• Provide monthly consolidated balance sheet and cash flow for management and external reporting.
