Role: Statutory Checks Business Support Officer
Scale 3 (£24,790 - £25,183), 37 hours, full-time, permanent, hybrid working (Central House - 1 day/week, and homeworking).

Assist with completing Statutory Checks for foster carers and childcare providers by collecting data, initiating checks (DBS, OFSTED, INTERNAL & EXTERNAL), liaising with social workers, and reporting delays or errors. Support colleagues in reception, handle fostering medical paperwork with GPs and payment teams, and manage the Statutory Checks Inbox. Promote an inclusive, non-discriminatory workplace, adhere to council policies on attendance, health, safety, welfare, customer care, security, and align with council priorities.
Attention to detail, strong communication, organizational skills, teamwork, IT proficiency, problem-solving, customer service orientation, and commitment to policies and standards are essential.
