Job description

Role type - 6 Month FTC, hybrid, 2 days in the office.

Location - Warrington (WA3 6UT)

As the Statutory Audit Coordinator, you will oversee all statutory accounting, audit, and tax reporting for 11 non-UK accounts and assist the Finance Manager with 4 UK entity audits. Your responsibilities include ensuring all statutory accounts are filed by the deadline of 30 September 2025, coordinating FY25 statutory audits and tax reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

You will document statutory adjustments, maintain proper support and version control, manage reporting deadlines, and liaise with Group Technical Accounting and Group Corporate Secretary teams to ensure timely signing and filing of documents.

What you will be doing:
  1. Audit Planning and Execution:
  • Assist in planning and executing statutory audits, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to gather and analyze financial data.
  • Maintain audit documentation and files.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure statutory audit compliance and assist in report preparation.
    • Review and reconcile financial records.
  • Coordination and Communication:
    • Coordinate with stakeholders and facilitate communication during audits.
    • Assist with auditor queries and requests.
  • Other Duties:
    • Contribute to developing audit procedures and processes.
    • Assist with other accounting and audit tasks as needed.
    What do I need to be successful?
    • 4-5 years of audit experience
    • Qualified Accountant (ACA preferred), with audit and company accounting experience
    • Understanding of statutory audit process requirements
    • Detail-oriented with a project management approach
    • Understanding of SAP 4 Hana
    • Adaptability and enthusiasm for process improvement
    • Good communication skills
    • Strong Excel skills
