Job Description:

Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) - On-site in the United Kingdom

Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be empowered to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts who take pride in their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

The role involves working 4 days on, 4 days off, 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Performing planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
  • Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
  • Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
  • Coordinating with the Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Understanding of O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Willingness to work 4 on, 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
