Job Description:

Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) - United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, you will carry out planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

The role involves working 4 days on, 4 days off, 12-hour shifts, alternating between Early (6am-6pm) and Late (12pm-12am) shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Perform planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults.
• Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasking and fault updates.

Who you are:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures is advantageous.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work 4 on, 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating between early and late shifts.
