Job Description:

Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) - United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts dedicated to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6 am - 6 pm) and Lates (12 pm - 12 am).

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Performing planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting faults
• Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Coordinating with Telent Service Centre for tasking and fault updates

Candidate profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning, with experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability for 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
