Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and collaborate with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team working on complex, critical infrastructure projects that support the nation's safety and connectivity.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will conduct planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attending planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for task updates and fault resolution

Candidate profile:

Ideal for hands-on individuals who enjoy learning, with experience or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures. This is an entry-level role suited for those with a CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background, IT awareness, problem-solving skills, and a full UK driving license.
