Job Description: Station Systems Maintenance Technician Level 3

Every time you pick up the phone, surf the Internet, travel on a motorway, catch a train, bus, or tube, or even dial 999; chances are telent has enabled the technology to make this happen. The successful Station Systems Technician Level 3 will be responsible for carrying out planned and corrective maintenance activities on CCTV, CIS, PHP, PAVA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is based in London and the South Coast, working Monday to Friday during the day.

Station Systems Maintenance Technician, what you’ll do:

  • Attend planned and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Ensure SISS assets are well maintained, and station communication faults are reported and fixed
  • Utilise field IT equipment to provide real-time maintenance data
  • Liaise with Telent Service Centre for tasking, fault updates, and completions
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual planned maintenance activities as defined by the Team Leader

Who you are:

You should have previous experience in a similar role, or possess CCTV, IP knowledge, or an electrical background, and ideally understand Network Rail health & safety procedures.

SISS Maintenance Technician Key requirements:

  • Experience with CCTV, CIS, PAVA, PHP, or an electrical background
  • Monitor work progress and handle issues as they arise
  • Good understanding of ServiceNow or similar IT systems for updating, closing jobs, and reporting
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday during the day
