Job summary

East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service is opening a Station Manager pool recruitment. Applications from substantive Watch Managers and Station Managers are welcome; allocation depends on suitability for specific posts.

The Service offers development programmes and tailored progression opportunities to prepare for future roles within ESFRS. A condition of appointment to the flexible duty Station Manager role is providing operational cover from within the County.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be eligible for L2 Incident Command qualification.
• May be required to complete an Initial Test of Command Potential (IToCP).
• Ability to provide operational cover from within the County.

Responsibilities

• Be considered for a Station Manager post from the pool based on suitability.
• Attend staff engagement panel and interview if shortlisted.
• Engage with ESFRS development programmes for future roles.
