Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our expanding Rail Systems Engineering team at Telent, dedicated to maintaining the UK-wide rail network. Our clients include Transport for London, Network Rail, and various Train Operating Companies.

Reporting to the Lead Safety and Security Engineer, the Systems Engineer will be responsible for delivering project upgrades across infrastructure such as Network Rail, TFL, and TFGM. The role involves survey, design, and technical aspects of SISS within a rail environment.

Typical Deliverables
  • Design, survey, and technical engineering experience within SISS.
  • Lead on developing new product or service ideas and creating detailed plans from conception to installation.
  • Develop technical plans and utilize scientific skills to create practical solutions.
  • Select appropriate materials and conduct cost analysis forecasts.
  • Complete technical and regulatory documentation.
  • Ensure quality control and oversee construction, development, and deployment of systems.
