Join Our Team as a Customer Service Host at Cambridge South
About the Role:
We are seeking 17 Customer Service Hosts to embody the welcoming spirit of Greater Anglia at our exciting new station. In this role, you will provide outstanding customer service, ensuring that passengers have a seamless and safe travel experience. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Cover platform, concourse, and Ticket Vending Machine areas of the station
- Assisting customers at the gateline and ensuring the safe, tidy and efficient operation of the gates
- Helping to prevent ticketless travel and fraudulent activity
- Reporting any faults and issues promptly
- Assisting passengers with tickets, including checking them, providing general advice, and ensuring the gates operate smoothly
- Providing the highest possible standard of advice, information, and service to our customers
- Delivering a safe, attractive retail station environment, with general cleaning, de-icing
- Participating in the safe running of trains and a safe station environment by complying with procedures
- Promoting all relevant marketing materials and useful information
- Working to fully meet the requirements of passengers, including during times of disruption, service issues, or emergencies
- Providing passenger assistance, greeting passengers and dealing with onward travel arrangements to support their needs
