Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is hiring a night shift cleaner to cover cleaning of washrooms, office areas, stairwells and car parks. You will work Monday to Sunday, 21:30–07:30, with responsibilities including vacuuming, mopping, litter collection and sanitisation.

The role requires flexibility, reliability and the ability to work alone or in a team, with emphasis on health and safety and timely completion of duties. Training and equipment use are provided.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of washrooms, communal areas and floor space.
• Cleaning of office spaces, staff areas, stair wells and car parks.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, mopping and damp wiping.
• Litter picking, litter collection, emptying bins and disposal.
• Sanitisation of touchpoints and use of cleaning equipment (handheld and ride-on).
• Reporting equipment faults and health and safety concerns.
• Adhering to health & safety guidelines and attending training.
• Other cleaning duties as required.

About The Role

Working Pattern

Monday to Sunday
21:30 - 07:30

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of washrooms, communal areas & floor space
• Cleaning of office spaces, staff areas, stair wells & car parks
• Vacuuming, sweeping dusting, mopping & damp wiping
• Litter picking, litter collection, emptying of bins & disposal
• Sanitisation of touch points
• Use of cleaning equipment both handheld and ride-on.
• Reporting of any equipment faults and health and safety concerns
• Adhering to all health & safety guidelines
• Attend relevant health & safety training
• Attend all training deemed by the company necessary to perform this
• Other cleaning duties that may be required from time to time

Ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritize work loads
• Good communicationskills

Desirable

• Previousexperience working in cleaning
• Previousexperience of working with cleaning machinery (Ride-On / Handheld)
• Previousexperience of working the public
• Passing GSCE Grades (or equivalent) in:English, Maths

• You may be required to undergo a medical and drug and alcohol test prior to starting, as well as during your employment

Additional Requirements

Due to the nature of this role, you will need access to a smartphone that can support our approved work applications for tasks such as clocking in and out (if you are required to use our time and attendance system for your role), viewing schedules, completing training and receiving work-related communications.
