Job summary

Branta Recruitment Ltd is seeking a qualified Static Maintenance Electrician to oversee planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and electrical compliance at a large static site in Hexham.

Working within a dedicated FM team, you will maintain electrical infrastructure from distribution boards to emergency lighting and small power installations, ensuring statutory standards are met. Overtime is available, with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent time-served apprenticeship.
• City & Guilds 18th Edition (BS 7671:2018) required.
• Testing: 2391/2394/2395 advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled PPMs, inspections and testing routines across electrical assets.
• Fault-find and repair reactive electrical breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Carry out emergency lighting testing, fire alarm checks and PAT per statutory standards.
• Perform minor electrical installation works, distribution board alterations and containment runs.
• Manage specialist sub-contractors on-site, issue Permits to Work (PTW) and review RAMS.
• Maintain accurate digital records of all works via the CAFM system.
