Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for a static-site role in Peterborough. You will perform PPM and reactive electrical maintenance within a large distribution centre, ensuring safety, compliance, and uptime.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 in Electrical Installation or Level 2/3 Electrical qualification.
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance within agreed timescales.
• Complete electrical maintenance, repairs and minor works to a high standard.
• Support other engineers and technicians with both major and minor maintenance activities.
• Prioritise and complete maintenance tasks efficiently and professionally.
• Ensure all required tools and equipment are available, serviceable and fit for purpose.
• Accurately complete all relevant maintenance documentation and paperwork.
• Provide support across other sites within the cluster when required.
• Work closely with client and company colleagues to maintain high standards of quality and service.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with KPIs, health & safety requirements and procedures.
• Keep the Mercury CAFM system fully updated with accurate, live job information.
• Represent the company professionally and build strong working relationships with colleagues and the client.
