An opportunity to join Epsom and St. Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust as a static Band 6 Occupational Therapist within the Acute Therapies team. The role will primarily work within the medical specialty based at St. Helier Hospital, covering a diverse range of clinical areas including respiratory, cardiac, general medicine, and haematology. Occupational Therapy plays a vital role in the acute care setting, supporting a seamless and positive journey for patients during inpatient stays and beyond. Therapists collaborate closely with physiotherapy colleagues, the wider multidisciplinary team, and community partners.
We are seeking a motivated and committed individual to join this static position at St. Helier Hospital, with the opportunity to develop expertise in a specialist area and to support the Band 7 in team development activities. This role is suitable for an experienced Band 6 therapist or a Band 5 therapist seeking professional progression through a developmental opportunity. The Trust places a strong emphasis on staff support and professional development, fostering continuous learning and growth.
