Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking an experienced facilities maintenance professional to oversee day-to-day mechanical, HVAC and BMS tasks at 76 Southbank. You will work with Site Supervisor and General Manager, ensuring systems operate as designed.

Responsibilities include planned and reactive maintenance, safety compliance, risk assessments, reporting, managing subcontractors, and supporting extra works quotations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience working with mechanical, HVAC and pressure systems in operational environments.
• Demonstrable awareness of legionella control (L8) standards with at least 2 years hands-on application.
• Proficiency in Building Management Systems (BMS) with at least 2 years' experience.
• Mechanically biased with solid knowledge of electrical and BMS systems.
• Experience in high profile properties and understanding of SFG20.
• Confined space awareness and good fault-finding abilities.

Job description

Integral UK Ltd are currently recruiting for an exciting role at 76 Southbank. The successful candidate would be predominantly responsible for the day to day operation of pre-planned and reactive maintenance of the mechanical systems onsite along with activities including not limited to the statutory position of the property inclusive of the reporting on any issues identified by the client, their consultants and insurers or on the Riskwise or Vantify systems.

Whilst the primary objective is to ensure that the mechanical systems are operating as designed there would also be a responsibility with regards to other disciplines as part of a collaborative, proactive team.

The successful candidate will work closely with and contribute ideas to the Site Supervisor, Contract Delivery Manager as well as forging a close relationship with the General Manager for the property and the soft services teams., Maintenance and Technical Tasks

Conduct planned and reactive maintenance tasks on mechanical systems along with any other appropriate tasks as per requirement.

Use building management systems (BMS) and various other platforms to optimise site performance.

Manage subcontractors to ensure quality and compliance.

Compliance and Safety

Follow company safety protocols and adhere to health, safety, and environmental legislation.

Participate in risk assessments, permit systems, safety audits, and accident investigations.

Communication and Reporting

Produce accurate technical and activity reports in a timely manner.

Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and management.

Escalate major site issues promptly and support quotation development for extra works.

Minimum of 3 years' experience working with mechanical, HVAC and pressure systems, including hands-on application in operational environments.

Demonstrable awareness of legionella control (L8) standards, with at least 2 years of practical experience applying these principles in a relevant setting.

Proficiency in Building Management Systems (BMS), with a minimum of 2 years' experience using BMS software for monitoring and controlling building systems.

Mechanically biased with strong knowledge of electrical / bms systems.

Experience required of working in high profile properties.
