Job Description

Coyle Personnel, one of the UK’s leading family-run staffing solutions providers, is currently seeking a Static Maintenance Engineer to work in Central London.

Role Summary

As a Static Maintenance Engineer, you will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance checks to electrical, mechanical, and HVAC plant and equipment. You will service and maintain building services plant and equipment in accordance with relevant standards, frequencies, and safe working practices. You will respond to reactive breakdowns, carry out fault finding, and perform any necessary repairs.

Duties include:
  1. Carry out scheduled planned preventative maintenance tasks at our client’s premises as directed by the Company, in accordance with company and statutory procedures.
  2. Respond to reactive breakdowns at our client’s premises as directed by the Company, in accordance with company and statutory procedures.
  3. Maintain a ‘can do’ approach to your work ethos.
  4. Identify any replacement parts required, obtain costs, and order such parts through the company Buyer.
  5. Provide support to the Contract Managers and Supervisors as requested.
  6. Report promptly any accidents or incidents, including near misses, on the company accident-free phone Help Line.
Skills, Knowledge, and Competencies required:
  1. Good all-round technical ability and a working knowledge of a wide variety of Building Services Equipment.
  2. Hold relevant Engineering trade qualifications - Mechanical or Electrical.
  3. Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  4. A good knowledge of all aspects of health and safety within the industry and the ability to implement control measures at site level.
