Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Static Maintenance Electrician in Northumberland. The role is full-time and permanent with a 37.5-hour week, working Monday to Friday.

You will perform planned maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on electrical systems, ensuring compliance with 18th Edition regulations. A recognised electrician qualification and over 5 years FM/industrial experience are required, with eligibility to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrician qualification (NVQ Level 3).
• Complete an electrician apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of I.E.E. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Planned, preventative maintenance and repairs of electrical systems.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting across the site.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations (18th Edition).
• Respond to faults promptly to minimise disruption to site operations.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain a safe working environment per health and safety standards.

Job description

Randstad C and P are working with a global FM client to onboard a Static Maintenance Electrician within Northumberland. This is a full:time and permanent opportunity offering a 37.5 hour working week.

The Package

• Competitive salary of GBP38,000 : GBP41,500 per annum (depending on quals and experience)
• Permanent and full:time position.
• 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
• 25 annual holidays + 8 days bank holidays
• 6 pension scheme (Can be increased or decreased)

Duties

• Planned, preventative maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems (e.g., distribution boards, lighting, machinery, and equipment).
• Fault:finding and troubleshooting of electrical issues that may arise across the site.
• Ensuring compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards (18th Edition, etc.).
• Responding to and addressing any electrical faults or breakdowns promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to the sites operations.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on equipment to avoid future issues.
• Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a recognised electrician qualification (NVQ Level 3)
• Successful completion an electrician apprenticeship or have equivalent experience working as an electrician.
• Understanding of I.E.E. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Over 5 years of FM experience/ Industrial experience
