Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to join our client site on a 4 on 4 off rolling roster. You will maintain a visible security presence, monitor CCTV, respond to incidents, and uphold health and safety policies.

The role requires an SIA Licence, excellent customer service, and strong report-writing skills. You will work as part of a professional team, liaising with management and emergency services as needed.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK & ROI.
  • SIA Licence (Door Guard) is essential.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent English written and spoken.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with CCTV systems.
  • Provide a complete work history with references.
  • Strong report-writing skills.
  • Flexible hours as required by the company.
  • Team player, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
  • Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks.
  • Follow policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a security presence at our client site to ensure safety.
  • Adhere to company policies and site instructions on site.
  • Complete reports, records and required documentation accurately.
  • Carry out patrols to protect buildings and property from burglary or damage.
  • Follow health and safety policies, site risk assessments and procedures.
  • Call emergency services when required and assist Police as needed.
  • Monitor CCTV/Lectern where applicable.
  • Represent the company professionally and maintain ASCONE/Code of conduct.
  • Assist and advise management on security matters at the location.
  • Understand conflict resolution as specified by the company.
  • Provide support, guidance and information to colleagues, customers and contractors.
  • Perform any ad hoc duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a security presence at our client site, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for customers and members of the public.
  • Adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures, and site Assignment Instructions, when approved and placed on site.
  • Ensure the proper and accurate completion of all reports, records and required documentation
  • Carry out regular patrols to ensure the protection of buildings and property from burglary or damage by fire, water, or the effects of bad weather.
  • Adhere to Company and customer health and safety policies and procedures, particularly in accordance with site risk assessments.
  • To call emergency services as required by Assignment Instructions, and give assistance to the Police where necessary
  • Monitor CCTV/Lectern where applicable
  • Carry out Arrests as per principals of ASCONE
  • Represent the company in a professional manner and maintain SIA standards in relation to code of conduct.
  • Assist and advise Management of any matters affecting security within the location
  • Understand and carry out conflict resolution as specified by the company
  • Provide support, guidance and information to all colleagues, customers, and contractors.
  • Any ad hoc duties as may be required by the company
About You:
