Job summary

Perigon Search Ltd is hiring a Static Critical Cooling Engineer to join a specialist team supporting a major data centre in Canary Wharf. This is a site-based role maintaining high-tech CRAC and chilled water systems within a mission‑critical environment – with all tools, parts, and support available on site.

It’s a technically focused position suited to an experienced engineer who enjoys problem‑solving and working in a clean, professional, and well‑resourced environment without the travel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with CRAC, chilled water, or DX systems.
• F-Gas certification (essential).
• Confidence with controls, electrical testing, and advanced diagnostics.
• Experience in data centres or precision cooling preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and fault-finding on CRAC units, DX systems, and chilled water plant.
• Carry out diagnostics, electrical testing, and planned maintenance.
• Ensure reliability and uptime in a critical cooling setting.
• Training is provided on hybrid and adiabatic cooling systems, with support from a wider UK engineering team.
