Job description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Cardiffto assist with the appointment of aStatic Cleaner, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £12.21 - £15.77 per hour

Summary:

The Static Cleaner is responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services to the communal areas of static blocks of flats within the city of Cardiff. The role ensures cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with health and safety practices, while maintaining excellent communication with supervisors and residents.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out cleaning tasks to a high standard, taking ownership of specific assigned duties.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
• Conduct basic risk assessments of work areas and tasks to ensure safety for all.
  
• Identify and report repairs or any issues in communal areas.
• Maintain daily communication with the Building or Mobile Supervisor regarding operational matters.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a cleaning or caretaking role (preferred but not essential).
  
• Willingness and ability to undergo relevant training, including BICSc certification.
• Understanding of health and safety practices in a cleaning environment.
  
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Physically capable of performing cleaning tasks.
• Commitment to customer service and equality of opportunity.
• Flexible and adaptable to meet operational needs.

• This role requires a Basic DBS
