Job summary

Polyteck Building Services is seeking an experienced Static Building Services Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance at a client site in London. The role involves maintaining building services systems, completing PPMs, attending reactive issues and ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard.

You will work on site at Leman Street, London, with on-site hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, and salary dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in Building Services Maintenance.
• Experience with mechanical and M&E systems.
• Relevant up-to-date qualifications.
• Good fault-finding and maintenance skills.
• Experience with a range of PPM duties.
• Ability to work independently on a static site.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• IT literate and able to update jobs/timesheets electronically.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Attend reactive maintenance issues and building repairs.
• Service, maintain and fault-find mechanical and M&E systems.
• Carry out routine inspections per PPM schedules.
• Complete job reports, logbooks and maintenance records accurately.
• Identify and report remedial works.
• Monitor plant rooms and site equipment.
• Ensure scheduled works are completed on time.
• Work in accordance with Health & Safety procedures and risk assessments.
• Liaise professionally with clients, tenants and contractors on site.
