Job description

Job Role: Static Building Services Supervisor

Area: London, West End

Salary: £48k - £50k

My client is looking for a Static Building Service Supervisor to join their team, covering a site based in the London, West End.

This person will support the engineering team with all technical issues, ensuring engineers and subcontractors are managed and organised to work in a safe manner and to carry out hands-on work to assist with the delivery of the PPMs and reactive works. All works are to be carried out and completed to the satisfaction of our client.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all planned and reactive tasks are completed to schedule throughout the campuses.
  • Ensure that work is allocated between the team within the capabilities of the Engineer.
  • Carry out more hands-on complex/technical demanding works as required by the client.
  • Cover Engineers in the event of absence.
  • Order and manage the delivery of parts required by all engineers in a timely manner.
  • Manage and update the Client's portal (if applicable) with clear updates stating status of jobs.
  • Support the production of the monthly report on service delivery, issues, and improvements.
  • Preparation of extra works quotations for submission to customers.
  • Carrying out Site Inductions and organising mentoring and shadowing during the transition period for new employees.
  • Resolving employee disputes as a first point of call and reporting any violations of company policies to a director.

The ideal candidate required:

  • Excellent communication skills both internally and externally.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • A good general education is essential, with a qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience with working in client premises and forming working relationships with clients.
