Job summary

PRS LTD is seeking an experienced Static Air Conditioning Engineer to maintain a portfolio of six buildings across South London, based mainly in Tooting with occasional cover in Central London. This client-facing role requires independence and strong fault-finding skills.

The package includes £50,000 salary, paid travel costs, bonus, OT opportunities, and 25 days of annual leave (rising to 30). City & Guilds Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent and a Category 1 F-Gas certificate are

Job description

Static Air Conditioning Engineer
Location: Tooting, South London
Salary: £50,000 per annum + Paid Travel Costs + Bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

We are seeking an experienced Static Air Conditioning Engineer to join an established team, maintaining a portfolio of six buildings across South London. The role is primarily based in Tooting, with occasional cover required at a site in Central London.
This is a client-facing position, suited to an engineer who is confident working independently, taking ownership of maintenance and resolving faults efficiently.

The Role

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on air conditioning systems of all types from all the major manufacturers. (No Commercial Refrigeration).
• Diagnose faults and undertake reactive repairs.
• Complete system diagnostics and fault-finding independently.
• Maintain equipment across six buildings, ensuring reliable operation.
• Liaise professionally with clients and site representatives.
• Provide occasional holiday cover at a site near Angel.

The Package

• £50,000 salary.
• Overtime Opportunities
• Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.
• Travel Costs to site paid within reasonable limits.
• Bonus potential of up to 2%, paid every six months.
• 25 days’ annual leave, increasing incrementally to 30 days.
• Private healthcare following successful completion of probation.

The Ideal Candidate
You will be an experienced air conditioning engineer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience and strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, able to work autonomously and deliver a professional service in a client-facing environment. You must have a minimum City & Guilds Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent and a category 1 F-Gas certificate.
