Startup Solutions Architects work hand in hand with AWS customers to help them make the most of the Cloud. They are at the crossroads of business and technology and engage with startups of different stages. They support the overall technical relationship between customers and AWS, understand customer business needs, and provide prescriptive guidance on how to create business value with technology. They also have a broader impact at scale by creating and presenting technical content and best practices.
In this role you will practice creativity by linking technology to tangible solutions and educating AWS customers about the art of the possible. You will produce cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases and have the support to grow your expertise in industry and technology areas of depth. Every day you will be learning something new from customers, peers and your own experiments.
You will be part of a team responsible for driving adoption of AWS technologies while bringing differentiated value to customers. This team is dedicated to Startups, an important and growing subset of AWS customers. Startups follow unique technology adoption patterns and growth trajectories, so you will employ engagement strategies and programs tailored to their business needs and technical preferences.
AWS Global Sales drives revenue, adoption, and growth from a range of customers including startups, small- and mid-market accounts, enterprise-level customers, and the public sector. The AWS Global Support team partners with a global list of customers building mission-critical applications on AWS, delivering world-class support as a critical driver of customer success.
In this role you need to be passionate about startups and cloud architectures. You are a builder with genuine curiosity about how technology supports customers’ business models and objectives. You are a lifetime learner who develops depth in technical domains relevant to customer outcomes. You are prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and embrace Amazon culture.
A typical week involves meeting multiple customers, collaborating on designing and operating well-architected solutions, earning trust, and educating about AWS capabilities. You’ll partner with internal teams and experts, leveraging deep knowledge of tools and products to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address business problems. You’ll have opportunities to continuously learn and innovate daily.
