Starbucks Supervisor – Telford Cineworld

Telford is a vibrant 11 screen cinema located at Southwater Square. Cineworld Telford is a complexity 4 cinema containing both IMAX and 4DX screens along with a Starbucks Store. The management team consists of a General Manager, 2 Cinema Managers, 3 Team Leaders, 1 Starbucks Store Manager, and 2 Starbucks Supervisors. In this role, you will be responsible for a team of approximately 8 Baristas. Due to the fast-paced and challenging nature of the Starbucks Store, this role is perfectly suited to an experienced Starbucks Supervisor or a high-performing Barista looking to take their first step into a management position. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience in the leisure/hospitality sector and can demonstrate transferable skills. Ideally, they should be fully available 7 days a week with a full UK driving licence and be looking to further develop their career with Cineworld.

The Role of the Starbucks Shift Supervisor

The role of the Starbucks Shift Supervisor is to lead the Barista team during scheduled shifts and to support the cinema management team in running the Starbucks store. You will deploy the team and delegate tasks to ensure that the Starbucks experience is created and maintained for our customers. You will act as an ambassador for the guiding principles of Starbucks and Cineworld.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Engaging and connecting with customers, ensuring your actions display the culture, mission, and values of Starbucks through a hands-on, positive example.
2. Planning and executing all in-store promotions, ensuring facilities, payroll costs, stock ordering, and reporting processes are followed through effective monitoring and coaching whilst on shift.

Not only may you be able to see films before they’re open to the public, but you will also be eligible for the Premiere Pass, which entitles you and a guest to complimentary cinema visits and discounts on food and drink, so you can enjoy a night at the movies on us!
