Job summary

EG Group is seeking a Starbucks Shift Supervisor at West Knoyle, UK to lead a fast-paced team, ensure products are fresh and readily available, and deliver outstanding customer service. You’ll work with the Store Manager, prepare beverages, maintain store standards, and take ownership of shifts in the Manager’s absence.

The role emphasises driving team performance, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and upholding quality and safety across daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in hospitality, retail, or a customer-focused environment.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Confidence to lead, motivate, and support a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team by supervising daily operations, delegating tasks, and motivating colleagues to deliver great results while supporting their training and development.
• Create exceptional customer experiences by building a welcoming atmosphere, delivering outstanding service, and helping customers discover products they’ll love.
• Support smooth store operations by assisting the Store Manager with stock control, ordering, banking, and administration while maintaining accurate records.
• Champion quality and safety by actively participating in food preparation and upholding high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
• Keep the store looking its best by maintaining an inviting, vibrant, and well-presented environment for customers and staff.
• Lead by example every day by upholding high standards and stepping in during busy periods to keep operations running smoothly.
• Craft great products with confidence by preparing coffee, food, and beverages to brand standards with consistency.

A typical day as a Shift Supervisor:

• Keep the store looking its best by creating an inviting, vibrant, and well-presented environment where customers and colleagues enjoy spending time.
• Lead by example every day by setting high standards, supporting the team during busy periods, and stepping in to keep operations running smoothly when needed.
• Craft great products with confidence by preparing coffee, food, and beverages to brand standards, delivering quality and consistency with every order.

What we’re looking for:

Previous supervisory experience is preferred, but not essential.

Shift Information

Flexible working options available. Shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and busy travel periods. Full-time average shift 8 hours.
