Village Hotels in Sheffield is launching a brand-new Starbucks pop-up on our live hotel development site from December 2026, and we are seeking a high-energy Barista to join the founding team.

You'll learn the menu, craft quality coffee, and deliver that distinctive Village hospitality as you help transition from the pop-up to a grand flagship opening, growing a loyal customer base and shaping the store's vibe from day one.

The Role Outline: Your Shift at a Glance

As a Barista for our brand new Sheffield location, your journey starts in a completely unique way. In December 2026, you will be part of the founding team launching a fully operational Starbucks pop-up container right on our live hotel development site. You will be making incredible coffee for the construction crews, building a local fan base, and having a brilliant time doing it. Once the main hotel is completed, you and your team will walk straight into a pristine, high volume flagship store for the grand opening.

• The Grand Transition: Moving to the main stage. You will move with your team into the brand new store, bringing that established, fun culture into a high volume, flagship environment.
• The Craft: Pouring perfection. You will learn the Starbucks menu inside out, crafting every single flat white, frappuccino, and espresso to strict brand standards.
• The Connection: Making their day. You will deliver that brilliant Village welcome, remembering your regulars' orders and making sure every customer leaves with a smile.
