The role of the Starbucks Barista is to contribute to Starbucks’ success by providing legendary customer service to all customers through prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. The Barista acts in accordance with, and as an ambassador for, Starbucks guiding principles, culture, and values; embracing the coffee culture and keeping it at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Acting in accordance with, and as an ambassador for Starbucks guiding principles, culture, and values.
2. Embracing the coffee culture and keeping it at the heart of everything we do.
3. Discovering and responding to customers’ needs, providing product sampling and demonstrations to deliver the Starbucks Experience.
4. Following Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including cash handling, security, and health and safety protocols to ensure safety for all.
