Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Grade F. SCP 17 £25,722 - SCP 22 £27,942 (Actual salary, TTO)

Hours Per Week: 36hours, term time only

Work Pattern: 8.15am to 3.45pm

Base Location: St Thomas More RC College, Town Lane, Denton, M34 6AF

We are seeking to appoint a Standards Support Assistant, from September to work within the School Pastoral team and subject areas to raise standards of student behaviour and conduct, both in the classroom and the wider school.

The successful candidate must demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment, resilience and determination for students to achieve their full potential. You must be a strong team player and be able to develop effective learning relationships with students. You will be an instrumental part of a team to provide every student with an outstanding education.

The main duties of the role are:

Working under the direction of senior staff and pastoral leaders you will:

  • Provide supervision of students across the school.
  • Support break and lunch duty, and in particular supervise outside lunchtime sports activities.
