Standard Verifiers NVQ and Apprenticeships - Senior Healthcare Support Worker- Adult Nursing Support

We are currently recruiting for Standards Verifiers for our Adult Nursing Support sector.

Purpose of this role

Undertake sampling of assessment and internal verification decisions and records for competence-based qualifications within a Principal Subject Area (PSA) to affirm that national occupational standards have been achieved and upheld. Support, advise, and guide centres based on sampling outcomes. Direct centres in delivering competence-based qualifications towards achieving national standards.

Applicants must have significant experience delivering and assessing NVQs at levels 1-3, hold D32/D33 or A1 qualifications, and be working towards or hold the V1 or the Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.

A good knowledge of relevant specifications and evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in assessment and vocational qualification delivery are required.

Key Accountabilities:

• Sample learner work to verify assessment outcomes meet national standards
• Provide sector-specific support, advice, and guidance to centres
• Produce reports on sampling activities and outcomes
• Recommend certification or registration deferrals if standards are not met
• Develop targeted remedial actions for centres
• Support centres in understanding and implementing actions
• Report activities to Pearson and centres
• Provide source materials for assessor standardisation
• Perform other duties related to WBL Assessment

Person Specification

Experience Required: Significant experience in delivering and assessing NVQs, occupational competence in Adult Nursing, holding D32/D33 or A1 qualifications, and working towards V1 or equivalent. Experience supporting adults with various health conditions and needs. Evidence of CPD in assessment and vocational qualifications.
