Key to the role is for the individual to be able to pro-actively manage their own workload, communicating with directors/partners on a regular basis to service their clients. This is essential due to the size and nature of the team. Furthermore, the individual will be expected to consider and share technical developments and thought leadership and highlight further opportunities to develop new work.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Significant experience of providing Stamp Taxes advice to a variety of clients within the real estate sector and more generally.
  • Ability to manage the successful delivery of commercially viable and technically excellent advice to a variety of clients involving tax due diligence, structuring, international and other advisory work.
  • An interest in actively developing and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships, and helping to manage business development activities and identify new opportunities.
  • Sound judgement, including the ability to identify and evaluate ethical/risk issues and know when to involve others.
  • High level of drive and enthusiasm with a positive attitude, and ability and willingness to keep up to date technically and to share new technical developments and thought leadership.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to positively engage with clients.
  • Educated to degree level and/or CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent and demonstrable post-qualified experience.
