You are a strategic communicator and relationship-builder with a passion for sustainable development and community collaboration. You bring:

  • A degree or equivalent experience in stakeholder engagement, environmental planning, communications, or a related field.
  • A proven track record of engaging with communities, strategic partners, and public stakeholders.
  • The ability to translate technical content into accessible, meaningful dialogue.
  • Strong planning, analysis, and communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • A collaborative mindset and the agility to adapt to evolving project needs.

You’re comfortable navigating complex infrastructure or environmental projects and are motivated by the opportunity to make a tangible difference in communities affected by mining legacies.

As Stakeholder Engagement Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to restore and protect environments impacted by abandoned metal mines. You’ll lead the development and delivery of engagement strategies that ensure stakeholders—from local communities to national partners—are informed, involved, and inspired throughout the project lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Leading stakeholder analysis and engagement planning across the WAMM programme.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Capturing and integrating stakeholder feedback to shape project outcomes.
  • Supporting project teams with communication strategies and community engagement.
  • Ensuring that stakeholder needs are reflected in programme objectives and delivery.
