Overview

Stakeholder and Policy Manager - Northern Ireland (Part-time, 21 hours)

Hours - Part-time, 21 hours per week

Salary - £45,000 (Pro-rata)

Location - Northern Ireland (Remote, with occasional travel across NI and to London)

The Fundraising Regulator is an independent, non-statutory body that regulates fundraising across the charitable sector in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The organisation works in partnership with other regulators and representative bodies in the charitable and fundraising sectors, as they seek to establish and maintain standards that apply to all fundraising organisations across the UK.

We are seeking an experienced policy professional with an excellent understanding of the voluntary sector. This person will possess the ability to engage with key stakeholders to raise awareness of the Fundraising Regulator’s presence and to develop and strengthen their key mission of maintaining and building public trust and confidence in fundraising across NI.

The Stakeholder & Policy Manager will act as the day-to-day lead for the regulator in Northern Ireland. They will play an influential role in evidence-based policy development, and establish and strengthen valuable working relationships with charity sector networks and regulatory bodies to promote high standards in fundraising and the Code of Fundraising Practice.

The successful applicant will have at least 5+ years experience of working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders in the charitable or fundraising sector in NI, with proven experience of working in a policy or standards related role.
