Job summary

Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking an experienced Stairlift Engineer for a fast-growing independent stairlift company based in Central England. You will install straight and curved stairlifts, service, repair and diagnose faults in customers' homes with strong earning potential including paid travel and overtime.

The role offers a strong basic salary (£37,000 - £40,000) with OTE around £60,000, 33 days' holiday, private healthcare, pension, flexible hours and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' stairlift engineering experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills required.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Install straight and curved stairlifts in customers' homes.
• Service, maintain and repair stairlift equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and provide customer support.
• Complete accurate service records and follow safety procedures.
• Participate in a one-in-five call-out rota.

The company also provides training across different stairlift and mobility manufacturers, helping capable engineers progress into an all-round Mobility Engineer role. Commutable from: Stoke-on-Trent, Knutton, Silverdale, Middleport, Keele, Butterton, Caverswall, Werrington, and surrounding areas.

The Stairlift Engineer Role

• Install straight and curved stairlifts in customers' homes
• Service, maintain and repair stairlift equipment
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
• Deliver professional customer service and technical support
• Complete accurate service records and follow safety procedures
• Participate in a one-in-five call-out rota

What You'll Need

• At least two years' stairlift engineering experience
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Knowledge of major stairlift manufacturers is desirable
• CSCS and/or SSSTS certification would be beneficial
