Job summary

NCR Atleos is hiring a Staging Technician for our Rotherham site. The role involves preparing and testing PC cores, staging live images, and packaging kits for dispatch. You will handle stock management, OBF investigations, and returns processing with guidance provided.

The position requires strong English, proficiency with Word/Excel, and ability to operate engineering tools. We offer a 40-hour week and a salary of £27,449.90 plus benefits, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written and verbal English skills.
• Ability to follow written instructions and scripts accurately.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel to maintain spreadsheets and reports.
• Comfort operating engineering tools including multimeters, test equipment, and drills.

Responsibilities

• Manual Handling: light to medium lifting; ladders up to 3 metres.
• PC Core Testing: unbox cores, verify specs, test with Quick tech Pro.
• PC Core Pre-Staging: load live image via imaging server, configure comms (up to 20 cores).
• Packaging & Dispatch: label cores, package kit, generate RICO labels.
• Stock Control: monitor stock, coordinate with secondary warehouse, track outbound items.
• OBF Investigation: diagnose and resolve Out-of-Box Failures with spare parts.
• Returns Processing: sort returns, recover usable units or parts.
