Job summary

Butlin's Minehead is seeking a hands-on Stage Technician to support sound, lighting and AV for productions and events. You will join the technical stage crew, setting up and operating GrandMA, Qlab, Yamaha, Dante, Midi and DMX gear, and will be involved in builds, stage setups and show execution.

Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required, with heavy lifting and some backstage duties. We welcome a team player who is eager to learn and share skills across the crew and wider Butlin's

Qualifications

• Previous technical experience in live venues.
• Experience with GrandMA, Qlab, Yamaha, Dante, Midi, DMX.
• Willingness to learn and share skills with the crew.
• Great team player with the buzz of a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Sound, Lighting and/or AV for productions shows, using track-driven cues and Qlab automation.
• Build sets and stage elements, and maintain props and scenery for shows and activities.
• Program and align Qlab, MIDI and other interfaces; set up sound, light and AV operations.
• Assist with heavy lifting and movement of stages, sets and equipment.
• Clean and maintain the back-of-house area and equipment.
