Job summary

A leading entertainment provider is seeking an experienced Sound Engineer to join their Technical Support Team in Bognor Regis. The position involves setting up and maintaining sound systems for a variety of performances, ensuring high-quality audio experiences for guests. Ideal candidates will have a solution-oriented mindset and experience with sound equipment in dynamic entertainment settings.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in sound equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Knowledge of RF and Midi control preferred.
• Experience with various entertainment genres is a plus.

About The Role

Entertainment is a huge part of Butlin's business. We are passionate about delivering great quality entertainment and are looking for talented Sound Engineers to join our Technical Support Team.

Our entertainment programme is dynamic and varied. Our Sound Engineers support shows ranging from theatrical spoken word performances to full band arrangements. You will work closely with artists, performers, and the Technical Team to ensure our entertainment delights guests and creates lasting memories.

You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining sound systems to ensure excellent sound quality at every show.

About You

We seek an experienced sound engineer with knowledge of digital and analogue mixing desks, musical instruments, and backline equipment. An understanding of RF and Midi control is also important.

Experience with different entertainment genres is preferred but not essential. The key qualities are the ability to think quickly and approach work with a solution-oriented mindset.

You should have demonstrable experience in maintenance and repairs of sound equipment.
